Have you ever had a feeling... you know? One of those feelings? The ones where you lay at home and you just lay in bed all day, not caring about getting up and impressing the world because one thing was on your mind? That was the way that Teegan felt. She felt so... frustrated, so angry, so confused, so subjected. She just lay curled up on her bed, realizing that she was going to be home for a long while without her parents. They had simply packed up and moved back to New York and left her a dreat deal of money to budget and use wisely and they trusted her to take good care of herself. Is that what she was doing now? She wasn't so sure. She thought herself to be dissappointing them more than anything, but also, she thought that she was dissappointing herself above all else. That had been because of her poor decision making skills and she had to remind herself that no one else could control that and it fell on her own shoulders.
But why him? Why did he have to be on her mind above everything else? It actually made her mad, especially after what had happened last night. She had marched over there to give him a piece of her mind and instead, she had left unsatisfied and confused. There was so much to that stupid, ignoramus Vincent than he ever let on. Or maybe he was so simple to figure out that she was just tripping herself up. Whatever the case was, she just couldn't stop thinking about him. She felt so silly and childish because she knew that never in a million years would it ever mean anything but he had just managed to make her weak in the knees when he had kissed her like he did and she had never felt anything like it. It was all that was on her mind and it pestered her like a stupid gnat, bothering her constantly. She did manage to get up out of bed and made her way to the couch in the front room, curled up watching some pointless teenage drama. She had enough of that in her own life. She sighed gently, picking up the remote and flipping through the channels, looking for anything better than what she was watching.

you don't have to move, you don't have to speak. Vincent was a selfish bastard. That was for sure. It hadn't even crossed his mind that kissing her last night might have hurt her feelings, especially since there was no meaning to it. Yeah, he saw that she was acting rather weird after he kissed her, but he figured that that was just because she had never been kissed before. He had kissed her like he had kissed every other girl who was pissed at him and tried to beat him up. And as soon as she left his house last night, another girl came in. Now he was getting off of her, slipping a shirt on and jumping into a pair of jeans. He told her she could always call him if she needed anything, and then he was out of his house, speeding for the flower shop. He felt he owed it to Teegan to buy her flowers. He didn't want her to be pissed at him or be mean to him like she usually was. It made him sad. Actually, it just made him laugh, but still. It was always fun to buy a girl flowers and make them feel better about themselves. You see, Vincent was a sweetheart when he wanted to be. Right before he seduced the girl he was being sweet to, anyway. He paid the florist and then grabbed the boquet of white flowers off the counter. He put them in the passenger seat of his car and then he headed toward Teegan's house. When he got there, he jumped out of his car and ran onto her porch, running a hand through his hair. "Theeeeeee sun will come out, tomorrowwww, bet ya bottom dollar that tomorrow! Teeegan oooopen the doooor." He sang loudly, his eyes closed. He was chuckling to himself. Why knock when you could bust a couple of ear drums first? He held the flowers in his hand, close to his chest, and he grinned when he heard someone run to the door.

There were a lot of things that got to Teegan so easily. She was so nifluenced by a lot of different things and with the ways people acted, it was so difficult for her to understand the way human behavior was. There were so many different patterns and in reality, every single human was unpredictable in their own way. She had learned that not only through text books but she was now learning it through the ignorant asshole named Vincent. She knew that she should have just run for the hills before she had even made friends with him because she ahd heard it all. She had heard the way people talked and spoke about him and the things girls said about him but she had continued to be his friend, even when she knew that it was probably not in her best intrest to do so. Then again, lately she had not been making good decisions and it was going to come and bite her hard on the ass and she wouldn't like it but she was coming to the conclusion that she needed to get out of her sheltered little box a bit.
She pulled a small blanket over her tiny form and closed her eyes, burying her face in it and inhaling slowly. It was keeping her warm considering that she had been lounding around her house all day and was only in a teal tank top and pair or light blue pair of booty shorts that said "get low" on the back side. She may not have been a whore but she could sure dress like one, haha. It wasn't like she was outside parading around like a skank or anything, though, because she was just laying in her own house where no one would have to see her and she wouldn't have to see anyone. She liked the solitude better, being all alone and not having anyone to bother the shit out of her. Ah, she thought too soon. She could hear some kind of Godawful screeching coming from what sounded like her front porch. Oh God! What was Vincent doing?! She scrambled up, not even thinking about her apparel and flung the door open. "What're you doing here?" she hissed at him, watching him cautiously.

you don't have to move, you don't have to speak. Woah. If people were really going behind Vincent's back and saying things about him, Vincent was severely mistaken. He thought the only people who said bad things about him were his enemies and Teegan. Those were the only people he thought would say something negative about him. He was friends with everyone else, wasn't he? It's probably better if we don't let him know that people did like to talk about him, because if he found out, he'd probably end up really sad. That doesn't sound very manly and doesn't sound very Vincent either, but the truth was - he hated when people talked about him. He hated it a lot. He wished Teegan wasn't so mean to him, though, because a lot of the time - he really was trying to be nice. She just always doubted it. Sex wasn't the only thing he cared about - it was just one of the prime things. While he waited for Teegan to open the door and while he sung, Vincent examined the outside of her house. It was pretty nice - made of brick(his favorite) and just a couple of windows in the front. He wasn't one for windows anyway. It probably seems weird that he was looking at her house like this, that he was being observant, but Vincent really was an observant person. He just didn't tell people that. He smirked when she first revealed himself. Here he was, dressed in a nice pair of black pants, a blue tshirt, and a black jacket...and there she was in booty shorts and a tank top. Not that he cared. "Nice outfit." He remarked with a grin, before he held the boquet of white roses up. "I'm sorry." He said, his voice quiet and his eyes sincere. Ha, he was a good actor.

It wasn't so much that people spoke bad about him, it was just what she heard was not something that she exactly fancied. When she would hear the conversations the other girls had in the locker room for basketball practice, she was really thrown off by the fact that one person could have sex with so many people. It really blew her mind that that many people could talk about it and know that the others existed and not have any problem with it. She was offended and the most she had ever seen of Vincent was him with no shirt on and his actual snake and she had been scared out of her mind. That was because she hated snaked but the fact was that she had gone over there to beat the crap out of him and he had so quickly changed her agenda. It wasn't really fair that he had gotten to her so easily and just changed everything. He had taken it all away from her too, just with the snap of his fingers. She never saw it as being nice, either. Sometimes, she thought that he was just out to piss her off and that he didn't care in the slightest. At least, that was the way he acted every single time she was around.
She felt that way because of how he insulted nearly everything she ever said. He would always make comments about things and it put her down and made her fell really bad but she never flat out told him because he would probably just laugh at her and tell her to suck it up. She still hadn't figured out yet why they were really friends or how that had ever happened. They seemed to be on two opposite ends of the spectrum but yet they were fairly close for those circumstances. But now, here he was and she had no clue why he was standing on her front porch singing awfully and loudly so that he was probably going to piss off the neighbors. It was really kind of nerve grating but she was glad that he shut up as she opened the door. Her eyes narrowed when he commented on what she was wearing but then noticed the boquet as he held it out to her. She didn't know what to say. "Vincent..." she started. She reached out and took the flowers from his hands. "They're beautiful... it's really sweet of you... But why?" she asked, a little confused. Was he actually turning soft? She nodded her head and motioned him in, shutting the door behind him before walking into her kitchen, taking the roses and cutting the stems as she pulled a long vase out of the cabinet before filling it with water and putting the roses into it. She then walked into the living room and took a seat where she had previously been on the couch, looking up at him. "You can sit down, you know," she said softly, smiling at him.
