OIL MARKS APPEAR ON THE WALL WHERE PLEASURE MOMENTS HUNG BEFORE
trembling hands clutched the doorknob as of her door as she before awoke on the tiny couch in her room, the tv on. which was showing some movie where a girl was being chased by someone after her brother's death. no wonder it triggered the nightmare she had just had. her body ached with pain as it was not used to being in one position for so many hours like that. it had been lunch time when the sixteen year old had gotten home from work. sitting on the couch and eating ice cream before falling asleep. it was now past eleven o'clock and the lights from a car outside of her window at woken her up. the nightmare had indeed scared her out of the roof and she couldnt make her body stop shaking. the house was dark and empty besides herself and her cat. already dressed, she grabbed some things and ran out to her car, taking the kitten with her. being home alone on a stormy night was not her thing. there was to many thoughts running through her head about her father and her brother not being safe as well. walking out in the rain, which shocked her how cold it really was, forgetting a jacket, she raced out to her car for cover taking a minute to see if she really wanted to leave the house in the first place. turning around to go back into the house, she put her hand on the doorknob, but it was locked, with her key on the inside.
mumbling under her breath, her cat scratched her from getting wet. she ran out to her car, getting in, she started it and put the tiny cat on the seat besides her. by the time she was out of the driveway, the tears were already rolling off her cheeks. the house was closest to hers was vincent lexingtons. a good friend for more than just a few years. it was one of those nights were getting high was necessary, and vincent was one to always have weed and always opened his arms welcome to her, no matter what time it was. he didnt even go to bed until twelve if she was lucky. the rain picked up as she started the windshield whippers on the car. stopping when she finally got to his house. pulling in, she checked to see if he was home, and only his car was in the driveway of the house. getting out of car, she grabbed her cat, hoping vincent wouldnt mind the furry little friend tally just couldnt leave her in the thunder like that. the cat was terrified of the thunder as much as tally was. tally knocked on the door. vincent! its tally, please open up. she yelled, rubbing her tear stained and somewhat smudged eyes from the eyeliner she had on. it was raining pretty hard, so she stood close to the door under the little overhang so she wouldnt get anymore wet than she already was.

I SPEAK LIKE FIRE, IT BURNS YOUR EARS!Vincent Lexington lay in his bed, his eyes closed and his hands resting on the back of his head. He wasn't trying to sleep or anything, he was just listening to the thunder rumbling outside. Vince loved storms. He loved rain and he loved dark days. No, not because he was depressed or anything...he just preferred water and darkness over no water and sunlight. There was something about the dark that calmed him, made him forget everything. Maybe that was why Vincent liked sleep so much: because when he did sleep, it was dark, and he never had to be blinded by light until he drew back his curtains the next morning or stepped into the living room. And water..I don't know, there was just something about it that made him happy and made him feel clean. That was probably why he took so many showers and liked to swim so much, haha. He heard a huge clap of thunder and could see, though his eyes were closed, a white flash of a lightning bolt. He quickly sat up from his bed, a little frightened by the volume of the thunder and the sudden roar of the rain sheets colliding into his windows and onto the roof. He ran a hand through his smooth hair, keeping the covers pulled around him. Oh, how he loved his covers. They were so comfortabe and warm and thick and big and squishy...wow, okay, I better stop there. They came in handy in these cold nights, though, the nights where coldness creeped through the walls and glided through his house, running up your back and sending chills down your spine. The nights where the clouds were chaotic; unkind. The nights like these. With a sigh, Vincent jumped out of his bed and threw a hoodie on, shoving his hands in the pockets of it. He still wasn't in his pajamas. He ran downstairs as the electricity flashed on and off, obviously a little frightened, but not too bad. He had to remember to be a man...yeah, just be a man. That was all he needed to do. Haha, that was so stereotypical. As he walked by the front door, he heard someone pound on it and he jumped back, suppressing a scream. He heard Tally say her name and he shook his head, putting on a smile and opening the door, pulling her in. He waited until her and her cat were in before he quickly slammed the door and locked it. "Are you cold?" He asked, only a few inches away from her, looking at her with the same charming smile he always did.

I WAS TAKEN BY A PERMINATE HIGH I WAS SECRETLY HOPING ONE OF US WOULD DIE
it was those dark and gloomy nights that made tally wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. she used to like the stormy nights that she spent with her older brother under the covers or with her other siblings like they did in the sound of music and she made dresses out of curtains, or maybe that was afterwards, or before. tally wasnt sure, but all alone with no one but her cat who was even more scared than she was, they were no longer fun. there was no longer any popcorn or those silly movies that she used to watch through the covers of her brother's sheets. now he was working all night and terrified tally always hated to be alone as much as she loved it. she did rather the dark more than the sun. as much as the dark brought bad things along with it that tally was more than afraid of along with everyone else, because who wasnt afraid of the unknown, well tally also thought that the sunlight brought far worse things than the dark any day. there was much more unknown to her than there was in the endless darkness, and it wasnt as if she was going to die if she stepped out in the sun, she did, and had to all the time. she felt bad for the people that had to patrol the streets or the docks at the island because of the power not working all to well and flickering on and off.
she could see the lights flickering on and off in the windows at vincents house, or maybe that was just him turning them on and off. she hadnt seen it enough to know for sure, yet at least. and she thought that he would be okay with her coming over. it wasnt like she hadnt been there before. she had been there, many times. sometimes with other friends or other times when she would go over because he would drive them to a party if there was one that they both wanted to go to. of course, she was never sure what else had happened between them, and she hoped that he didnt know as well, because if it was anything and he hadnt told her, then that could be a little frightful in her mind, but she knew that he would tell her if he knew anything that she didnt. running a hand through he semi wet hair as she was pulled into the house by vincent, she grinned at the sight of his face. thank god. the thunder wasnt the only thing that put chills down her spine, dropping the cat to the ground, it stayed by her feet, not daring to move. she wrapped her arms around him, her fingers tangling in his hair. it was so soft, she loved to touch the blond mess. "yes, im all wet, and now you are too. sorry that its late, but do you mind if i spend the night here?" she asked him, burying her face into his chest and inhaling. "im going to need to borrow some of your clothes, sorry." she said, laughing lightly as she moved her head off of his chest to look at his face. now, all she wanted was weed. vincent always has weed right? "and one more thing, sorry. you still have your stash of weed, right?
