kill the lights and nail the back door shut this isn't funny anymore , this means war It had been one weeks and four days since the day at the beach when Enver had first talked to Jade. After that, they had snuck out for breakfast almost every morning together, not sure how they manage, but somehow they never got caught. Enver like two things about this. One, was Jade, of course, and two was the fact that he wasn't sure why what they were doing was so not allowed. Maybe it was just him that felt as though they were sneaking out or something. He couldn't help but get completely absorbed in the girl. Everything about her, her face, her hair, her laugh, her voice, it just played through his mind like a movie, actually enjoying going to sleep at night knowing that he would get to see her every morning. He wasn't some obsessed teenager that was stalking her because Enver never became like that over anything. He just liked her, that was all, and they were the only two that knew there was more behind the smiles they gave each other in the hallways. The rest of the day they acted like the didn't even know each other. The only thing his friends or anyone noticed was how he was happier than he was before and he would just say that he didn't know what happened and he had always been like that. He and his teachers couldn't remember a last time the kid had been in school for a full week for every single hour. The school days were ten times shorter to him for some reason.
This morning Enver dressed in a blue shirt, an old pair of faded blue jeans, and his converse that he wore every day. His hair was needing to be cut as always with the hair on his head coming down slightly covering one of his eyes. Getting up as the bell rang, he was more than just anxious about getting out of the quiet classroom and into the noisy hallway. That class seemed to be the only one that went by slow. He didn't care to learn about you needed your organs, his mind was on no particular thought as he raced out of the classroom, almost being hit by a girl with more books that she could carry, so she dropped them all anyways. Enver stayed back and helped her pick them up anyways after realizing that it wasn't him who had knocked her over, but rather the guy that was already in the lunchroom, first in line. Enver walked out of the classroom after she said thank you to him and he stopped in one of the old empty classrooms. The school had a lot of them. He really didn't want to each in the lunchroom because today he wanted to eat lunch with Jade rather than with his friends in the noisy lunchroom were all they did was glance at each other a bunch of times until one of there friends would follow there eyes and then they both stopped. Leaving the door open just the slightest, he looked through until he could see Jade coming.

i've been jumping off the tops of buildings __________________
There was something thrilling about doing things you weren't allowed to that gave you a new feeling. Jade was never one to break rules, and had always spent her life safe withen the boundaries, never once stepping into danger. Maybe because she wasn't one to take chances, they terrified her. Yet, somehow Enver had been able to make her sit on that line quiet comfortably. Jade did have a feeling that sometime in the near future she was going to look back on everything and smack herself for not doing better, but every moment spent with him, she could care less. It was just that when she saw the senior every worry, anxiety, bad thought took off towards the exit door in the back of her mind. Jade had yet to put a name to this new feeling she had, and didn't plan to. It felt like there was some new undiscoverd organism growing inside of her now, or maybe Jade just hadn't experienced it yet. The girl had never been too hot in the whole dating department. There had been Rocket, but he ended up being more of a friend than a love interest and this other boy in sophmore year. That was about it.
Still copying notes down when the bell rang, Jade sighed and closed her notebook, stuffing her penciels and books into her bag before walking out of the classroom. Her had had started growing out by now, and she rather enjoyed having it that way, being able to tie it back as it was now. The junior was dressed in a beige floral print dress and a pair of bright orange tights and a pair of brown boots that went up to her knees. Pulling her books to her chest, Jade began pushing her way through the hall towards the cafeteria, making a detour towards the washroom to check her appearence. Pushing the door open and walking out, she pushed her bangs out of her face and walked by the classroom Enver was in. Unless things were thrown at her face, Jade rarely took notice to them.

i want to feel that lightning strike me and burn me down
The unexplainable feelings, the boy wasn't sure if it was love, the only feeling he knew to be the worst, so it had to be impossible for him to ever love someone, right? He knew it wasn't love, like the way he loved taste of homemade french fries, either, thus why it was unexplainable. Talking to the girl didn't leave that ever so longer feeling of hurt and jealousy that he had felt before when it came down to love, being crushed by the few people he had ever loved, his parents. No girlfriend had ever set foot in Enver's house because he never had a real 'girlfriend' before, so the feelings that he had for Jade were new to him and he wasn't sure how to react to the situation. He just liked her, point blank. There was no lust in there relationship, just forbidden friends, and he didn't take notice to that one bit besides that fact that he was just a tiny bit more conscious when they went to breakfast, but no one usually ever bothered them because everyone else was caught up in there own mess and talking on cellphones, trying to at least notice when there coffee and food was ready.
When it came to going out with girls, Enver was never good at that. He had gone out on dates but always got bored with the girl and ignored her from then on seeing as they were never what he thought they were. He didn't expect Jade to see him in the tiny window. If it was the other way around, he wouldn't see her either. The window was tiny and the room was dark, only light by the sunlight that poked through the windows. Why would you ever look in an abandon classroom, unless you were Enver who ate lunch in those rooms. That was why he kept the door slightly open so he could kidnap her, so as she walked by the classroom, the eighteen year old opened the door, grabbing her wrist and pulling her into the classroom before anyone would notice her sudden disappearance. "will you join me for lunch, today?" He asked her before closing the door.

for the thrill of the fall __________________
Jade's boy experience was pretty hysterical, really. She had her first kiss at ten after the christmas concert at school, she had played flute in the school band. Casey Russell had asked her to meet him at his locker. Jade could remember standing there for a moment before the boy leaned over and smoshed his lips against hers, his oboe case stood next to them like some unwanted guest. Casey moved in the new year. Boyfriend number one: Rocket Delaurr; she'd gotten sick of in under two weeks. Boyfriend number two: this guy in her sophmore english class. They would go out for lunch and he'd give her a look for ordering french fries. 'You might wanna watch the fats. Then she'd order a diet coke, 'I don't see what's up with girls and dieting.' She had actually stuffed a snickers bar into her mouth one time when she had seen him coming down the hall. After that Jade knew it was over. If she was going to have food problems they were going to be her food problems.
And that's why this whole thing with Enver caught her off guard. She'd never come close to feeling anything like it. Jade felt someone's hand wrap around her wrist and she squeeled loudly as the grac was pulled into the classroom. She had always known the janitor was a rapist. Entering the room, she watched the door be shut and was ready to go ninja on her capture's butt before realizing it was Enver. Her features relaxed as a hand went up to push her hair behind an ear. Lunch? Oh, she wanted to, Jade hesitantly stood on her toes and looked out the window of the door before turning back to him. She nodded smiling and seated herself on a desk, ruffling through her bag and pulling out a box of pasta. "How's your day?"

you know who you are ____
One of the only people that ever told the boy that they loved him was this girl who was probably about one hundred pounds over weight and always stared at him while she ate her ice cream like she was eating him when he was in fourth grade. At the time, Enver didn't know anything about relationships or love. All he knew was that people held hands and kissed each other, but never knew what it meant, not at that time at least. But, it was that girl who had sent Enver home with more than one black eyes and stolen his lunch money, so the day when she cornered him and told him that she loved him, Enver screamed in a horribly high pitched voice and ran away from her, making the girl terribly upset and she never talked to him ever again. After that, Enver had avoided the girls that picked on him in that certain flirty way seeing as they were always scary girls.
Nothing like Jade. If it had been anyone else, he would have released the girl from his grip as she squealed before she found out who he was, but this was Jade, so he didn't. He laughed at her tensed up features before she relaxed them. A smile spread across his face back at her as she took a seat on one of the empty desks. If the school hadn't been so old, then there would be electricity running to this room, but there was no lights. Only the sunlight that was coming through the window. At least there was heat. If there wasn't anything worse than being cold. He took a seat at a desk next to her, taking out his sandwich and dropping his bag next to the desk. "pretty boring. i awoke to the sound of the bell for lunch in my history class." He said with a light laugh. "How was yours?

ignoring sound advice __________________
Which is probably why she steered clear of the whol 'love' bull shit. All she knew was it brought pain, it hurt, it changed people. Take her parents for example. The divorce. She'll spare you the gory details of that time, the craziest, messiest kind of hell and chaos you never imagine for your life. Okay, one gory detail--her father, who takes insects outside when he finds them in the house, who rides them out in an envelope or some other handy airborne insect express material and gently lowers them to the ground, actually smashed his fist through his car window at the height of his anger and loss. Glass shards poked from the skin, sent blood down his Dockers.
Not that Jade could ever find it in herself to blame her mother. It wasn't her fauly. She supposed that was part of love then, hurt. Being hurt and hurting others. "I hate the school's heating system." She muttered more to herself. Galion High was ancient, and nothing really was up to date. She shifted herself closer to him, not entirely realizing why, leaning against his arm. Jade laughed, turning her head as she went through her bag again, this time pulling out a fork. The junior began opening the box of pasta, "I don't know. Stressful?" She'd had an english test first period. "But good, I guess."

remember the name ____
The only thing worse than actually being pretty much neglected growing up and learning from his own mistakes was that he was never given the right love a little boy needed. Sure, before he had his father who loved him to death and did everything in his right mind to make sure he was okay and taught him everything he ever needed to know, but once his mother saw that as a threat and a jealous act of kindness, she was on the next flight out of England with out an explanation. The only thing that explained everything was the divorce papers that she left on the old family desk that had belonged to her father with yogurt smudged on it because of Enver next to the ring. Thinking he was just going on a trip at the time, it became clear that he was never going to see his father ever again when his mother ignored him when he would ask when he was going home, and that was that. The last time he saw his father was at his funeral, looking nothing like the man he knew.
The man he knew was willing to come and rescue him from any situation, but as he looked at the black hair gone gray and the glasses that sat perfectly on his nose, it was clear he wasn't that man at all. Enver laughed at her comment as he took a bite of his sandwich after unwrapping the foil around it. That would be yucky if he ate that as well. "it's prehistoric." He said looking down at his sandwich. His head turned to hers as she spoke, taking another bite of his sandwich. It sometimes amazed him how close he was actually able to get to Jade. She started off hating him and now she was eating lunch with him in some random room in the school. "school sucks. i can not wait to leave this island, can you?" He asked her. Every dream he ever had was always ruined because he was on this very island away from the rest of the world. It felt like there was more than just water in between the island and the mainland.

and any thought of consequence __________________
Jade knew her life was a lot easier than most people's. That was a given. But maybe it was what you lived with determined how you reacted to situations. The tougher your life had been, the harder it was to let you down. Maybe that's how it all worked out. Jade wasn't sure what Enver's life was like, she hadn't dare venture there yet. She knew being a Riot meant it was very likely you had a pretty fucked up past, and she wasn't sure wether it was a touchy subject for him. She raised her brows slightly, turning her head from her pasta to look at him then his lunch. The junior opened her mouth, expecting him to let her have a bite. "Let's see." Hopefully that wouldn't kill her. Living on Galion definatley was a pain. Yes, the place was beautiful but other than the basic needs for survival there was nothing to do. She couldn't wait until she graduated. Jade nodded, bringing up a spoonful of pasta to her mouth and chewing slowly. Brown optics wandered to the door for a moment thinking, "What would happen if someone randomly walked in?"

dontfeellikelookinganyup. ____
Enver's head was a melting pot at the moment. It had every emotion alive crawling inside of his head, the good and the bad. Ones he had not ever felt before, and others that he knew quiet well, either way Jade had almost left him on a permanent high, only better because he was always happy knowing that he could see her, yet not seeing her was worse than any hangover he had ever experienced, and in his life, there were many. Enver didn't have a touchy subject in him, except for his dad of course, but how could it be touchy if he never knew the man. The only feeling he expressed for his mother was hate, and anyone could go on about hate for hours, only Enver preferred to sit quiet rather. Enver's eyes wandered towards the door, his sandwich dropping to his side as she asked him her question, he thought for a moment, not really sure what would happen. "well, then they would see two kids eating lunch together, doing something they weren't supposed to." He paused for a second. "or they would see two teenagers going something they really weren't supposed to be doing."

my bones are shattered __________________
Who ever said that things happened for a reason must've been on a religious kick when he said it. Jade never did once believe that there was someone up there in the clouds that controlled everything, played everything in her tiny world like a video game. Because life wasn't like that, there was no restart or undo button. What she thought was that everything that happened was her own fault, or that of others. Things didn't happen for a reason, you made them happen, it was you that fucked things up, no one else. Taking in another spoonfull of her pasta, Jade ate for a moment quietley, looking out the window as he spoke. She laughed slightly at his comment, looking down at her lap, the junior's chest had gotten all squeezed up. Like you do when you know you were doing something off limits.
