VINCENT,
i miss you,
i miss you so bad.
Vince did not wantto be here. He didn't want to be getting off the plane to Galion. No, he wanted to be getting on a plane away from Galion. Why did he have to go and piss Vee off? No, why did he care that he pissed her off? They were always pissing eachother off now...why did he care now? He had told her why he had really left, and then his stupid grilled cheese sandwich started burning down the house, so he had to go and put the small fire out. When he got back, Vee had shot back and then was signed off. He had sent her a couple of messages but no, she wasn't there. He personally held a grudge against the grill cheese sandwich maker now. Stupid thing had very bad timing. If it wasn't for that thing, he'd still be in Boston, and Vee wouldn't be pissed. Okay, well, she would be, but he wouldn't have to come out to Galion.
He hated this place. He really did. He had been away for a couple of weeks, and every second he was gone, he could only think of this place. He hated it, he wished it would just burn down, along with everyone in it. Okay, well, not everyone. He'd save all of his friends, like Andie and Vee, but he'd let everyone else burn, like Teegan. So that's a total lie. If Teegan was burning to death, he'd kiss her and THEN let her burn. That's a lie too. He'd probably pull a superman on the world and save her. But wait, this trip back was not to save Tee - hopefully. He didn't want to see her, and he hoped she somehow didn't find out. He just wanted to be in and out of this place, he only wanted to bother one person one last time before he left again, and forever. He missed her. He missed her beautiful, beautiful hair, and her laugh, and the way she looked on life, and how she was always happy, and the way when she was tired she acted like she was drunk. He missed Vee.
You know, when he saw her, he hoped she'd be happy that he even cared that mcuh about her to hop on the next fucking plane to this god damn island. That came out of his mind, just to let you know. Here he was, literally sprinting to Vee's house. He didn't have a car, and he didn't want to rent one. His breathing was rapid, his face was red, and his side hurt, but he didn't let that stop him. He pounded on the door, calling for Vee, only to see her sisters open the door and tell him she was at the arcade. The only thing he was thinking was are you fucking kidding me? Great, now he had to run up hill to the arcade. He was crazy.
It was hard for him to be here. I wish I could express how hard it was, but I can't. He hated it here, he really did. Oh, and it was just wonderful how he had to run past Teegan's house just to get to the arcade. He kept his eyes looking forward, though, and tried not to make himself turn his head as he ran past. It didn't work. He got one glimpse, saw her car, and almostwanted to grab a bat and smash it. But no, he kept running, only focused on seeing Vee. Boston was gay. Because there was absolutely no one like Vee there. They all smoked, and weren't as cute as city girls were supposed to be. Oh, and the parties in Boston just sucked. They just threw eggs at people. Eggs were meant for eating, not throwing at random people. Oh, and to make it all awesome, they didn't even get DRUNK! Apparently, it was okay for people to smoke there, but not to drink. Well, it was like that everywhere, but whatever.
Vincent was literally tripping over his own feet, dying of exhaustion as he ran down main street, just trying to get to the arcade. He prayed to God that Vee was there, because if she was somewhere else, hewas surely going to die or have to jack someone's car. Vincent was heaving deep breaths as he ran through the sleeting rain. Why did it have to be raining? His lungs were like ice, and every breath he took was just another sharp stab of it. He just wanted to stop running, to find her, apologize...rest for about an hour, and then run back to the airport. That's all he wanted to do.
Vince was now twenty yards from the arcade, tripping every couple giant steps but scrambling back up to his feet. He was shouting Vee's name as he grabbed the door handle on the arcade. It was just as cold as the air. He shivered, and he jumped into the arcade. "Vee!" He looked so pale, so tired...nothing like the Vince people knew. "Vee, are you in here?!" He doubled over then, coughing loudly. "Fucking damn it." He grumbled, trying to stand up straight so he could look for her.
