general:
Indra has brown hair, and it's usually styled. When it's not styled it gets quite messy, and it tends to annoy him a lot. He will sometimes roll out of bed and not be too bothered about how he looks, if he's not doing anything important in the day that is. Indra sometimes dyes his hair, and different colors tend to crop up like red streaks. Indra's eyes are brown, and he is short-sighted, and therefore he wears contacts. Indra sometimes does wear his glasses, but he prefers not to. He thinks they look a little ugly on him. Indra isn't entirely happy with his appearance, there are plenty of people in the world he'd willing swoop faces with, but of course, he can't. Indra isn't a very self-obsessed person when it comes to looks. He's not satisfied but he's quite confident with them.
Indra also has quite a tattoo collection on both arms, he also has a tattoo on his lower stomach, two on his fingers, one on his back and one on his leg. Most of these tattoos were done when he was a bit younger, being eighteen it's quite obvious that he has indeed had quite a few done in some slightly dodgy places. However, Indra doesn't think they look bad at all, and they didn't really cost him that much either. All of Indra's tattoos tend to represent a certain point in his life. Indra wouldn't ever get a girl's name tattooed on him either, because he knows it's something pretty stupid to do. Indra doesn't have the world's best body, but he's not out of shape in anyway. Indra likes playing a lot of basketball, and he's in pretty good physical shape, even though it may not seem like it. Indra seems to get into fights a lot, and therefore he has acquired quite a bit of strength with punching and kicking.
Indra doesn't really have a clothing style, he will grab anything he can and wear it, as long as he doesn't look ridiculous in it, of course. Most of his clothes are fairly earthy tones, but a sometimes he does wear colorful clothes. He doesn't wear designer clothes or anything expensive, his clothes are around about medium priced and he'll usually treasure and wea them until they wear out/break/go missing. He does like his jeans though, especially his black jeans, which he got when over in England last year. He loves his hoodies, and is rarely seen not wearing one of them.

personality:
Indra could only possibly be described as some one with an incredibly big personality. He has always been very outgoing and very daring on everything that he's done, and loves to bring smiles to people's faces. Indra is a charismatic boy, who likes nothing better than to know he's got someone right where he wants them. In all honesty, there isn't a single bad bone in Indra's body, and he doesn't have nasty or irrate tendencies, and whenever he does anything nice it's never to receive anything in return, although many people believe would believe that Indra has selfish compulsion. Indra was brought up by his uncle to respect people and to give the world the respect that he believes they deserve. However, this doesn't mean Indra is always nice, and it certainly doesn't mean that he will let himself or one of his friends get pushed around by someone else. Indra may not be a very big person to contend with, but what he lacks in physical size he (attempts) to make up with by being overbearing and loud.
Indra, although not entirely blessed with many traits or qualities, as a charismatic personality. He enjoys this and often revels in the idea, he makes friends quickly and easily regardless to the person's age or gender. He has a lot of persuasion and influence over people and although it doesn't always seem like it, when required to he can indeed be extremely eloquant and possesses superb communicaiton skills. He has no problem with charming people into doing something, and has an excellent ability to manipulate people, although he tends not to dwell on this trait as he deeply despises having led people astray. However, he has described himself as having 'joie de vivre', and says he has a love and desire for life and to live it the one he wants to as opposed to how anyone else says he should.
However, Indra's over-confidence on the outside can look rather convincing, but in reality it's often just a cover up for whatever's underneath. Everyone has their little problems, the nagging voice at the back of their head. Indra's voice has always told him that he's not good enough, and that he will become like his parents. Indra's never witnessed violence in his childhood, although he wasn't a very sheltered child, and was allowed the freedom to make his own mistakes. Indra is a worrier to some extent, and he often refuses to get too close to someone in case, like his parents, they'll just leave one day. Indra's never had a truamatic childhood, growing up in the suburbs of Rodeo he had a childhood much like many did, very typical, very latch-key. However, as Indra grew up he started becoming less typical, and found an independancy and took on his own ways in life. His views in life have gotten him arrested on occasion and more often than not into some form of trouble, however, Indra would never compromise his beliefs to get himself out of trouble or to stop himself getting in said trouble.
Indra used to drink very heavily, getting drunk practically every night, but the drinking eventually concided with his borderline personality disorder, and resulted him checking himself into rehabiliation. Indra has been drinking since he was thirteen, but has since calmed down after the rehab. It seemed to have worked, and he now only drinks on occasion and never to the extent that he did prior to entering the Priory. Indra has never taken any kind of drugs, however, unless you count the litres upon litres of caffeine he drinks per day. Indra has never really given into peer pressure, not face-to-face to people at least. He was offered a joint once, but turned it down, and luckily Indra never had the type of friends who would call him out for not doing something or call him sissy. Not to his face...
Indra has a somewhat cheeky personality, put to the test he could probably make the sluttiest girl blush. Indra loves making jokes and making people laugh. It a sort of a therapy for him, knowing that he can put smiles on people's faces. It's far more selfish than it actually sounds, because to be able to brighten up someone's day makes Indra feel a lot better about himself. He tends to surround himself by people who are upbeat and lively like himself. Indra is the type of person who had watched Patch Adams way too many times, and he's addicted to comedies. He is a very fidgety person, and refuses to sit in the same place for too long. It's not physically possible for Indra to sit in the same place when he's told too. He's often been asked whether he suffers from ADD, and Indra often finds this slightly offensive. He doesn't think his attention span is that bad, although in reality he's not the most hard working student, and rarely puts more effort when required into any of his work.
Indra does understand where to draw the line however, and he can think logically from time-to-time. He isn't completely unable to make rational decisions, although when put under pressure Indra will often act on impulse, as most people would. Indra's natural impulse is to use physical strength and force against someone. Although Indra strictly won't hit a girl, because he finds this weak and pointless. Indra sometimes needs to be reminded that he's taking things too far, and he will sometimes do that, unintentionally or not.
Indra does swear a lot, and he was always allowed to around the home when he was a child. His uncle, Roger, swore quite a bit, and Indra began to pick up on swear words and profanities. Indra isn't bothered who's in his presence when he swears, he will say what he wants, and refuses to censor himself or dumb himself down because of his use of language. Despite how his words are flecked with profanities, Indra's English is quite exceedingly good for someone who slacks off so often. This is because of how he was raised by Roger.
His uncle, Roger, is in to the music business, and because it was very tough to get a babysitter for Indra Roger would often just take Indra out to meetings with him. Indra was therefore taught from a young age to greet someone with courtesy and to shake people's hands and to introduce himself formally. Indra was also taught manners like to give a coat to a woman or to stand up when a woman left a table. Indra still abides by these morals to this day, although his infidelity and love for sex often overshadows his respect for the fairer sex.
Indra is extremely opinionated, although on first glance he might seem like the common class clown with a twig in place of a brain. This is in no way true, and Indra is strongly spoken against racism and homophobia. Mainly, however, Indra's morals lie in animal testing and eating meat. Indra had been a vegetarian since birth, his mother refused to raise him any other way, and when his uncle took him in Roger made acceptance for Indra's 'different' diet. Indra's influence quickly manifested itself upon the Jenkins household, which consisted of himself, Eleanor, Roger and Roger's other nephew, Daz.
Indra acts a lot like an older brother to his friends, and in particular, Daz. Damien Rush - often known as just Daz - is Indra's cousin. Like many of the Jenkins, he was born into a topsy-turvy family situation, where his parents were in the middle of a messy divorce at the time of his birth. Daz, rather than staying with his parents, who shouted and threw things at each other, decided he'd rather live with his uncle, Roger. Despite the fact his parents are still his legal guardians and not Roger, whereas Indra's legal guardian is Roger, Daz spends a lot of his time in Rodeo living with Roger, rather than in Chicago, which is where his parents live.
Indra is forever sticking up for the underdog, and is a bully to other people in a sense. He is very judgmental to those who he believes are bullying his friends, and Indra won't stand to see other people get pushed around. This is hypocritical in the sense that Indra will bully the bullies, and some times it works, and other times it doesn't. Indra is quite blind when picking fights with people, often under-estimating what his opponent can actually do to him. Indra's main way of solving problems has always been to fight, as he was never taught how to talk things out properly by his uncle, who also got into a lot of brawls with people.
Indra is very much against the usage of drugs for recreational use. Indra is fairly okay with the odd bit of weed every now and again from his friends, but strangely enough he won't touch drugs like that. Indra has been smoking since he was thirteen as well, which happens to be the age he started drinking and lost his virginity. Indra often pin points out the age thirteen for the turning point in his life. Indra is obviously well aware of how bad he is making his life and how he is affecting his health, but still makes no visible attempt to change his ways.
Indra can seem harsh at times, and snappy, to the point where some people can't even bear to be around him. This usually has something to do with him having his friend's best interests at heart. Although Indra's motives may not be entirely clear on the outside, he knows why he does things and he doesn't feel the need to justify his actions to anyone else. He cares for his friends a great deal, because they are the people Indra knows he can count on, and he tries to rely on them, but finds he can't rely on them too much, or else he will become dependent on them, and Indra knows despite the saying 'friends are forever', he knows that a load of bullsh**.
Indra loves girls, there's no denying it. He is often described as a man whore, and he sleeps around a lot. Despite his status as a man-whore, Indra does it responsibly- most of the time, at least. Indra is the type of person who despite having sex with girls he barely can remember the name of, will roll out of bed at seven in the morning after a night's drinking and partying to buy said girl the morning after pill. Indra knows the people in the pharmacy now, and although they are increasingly worried about him, Indra isn't the one to be embarrassed about asking for the pill or condoms. Indra thinks that if people can't be mature and adult about having sex, then they shouldn't even consider having it. He has absolutely no shame in buying protection, and although he has been known to 'sleep around', as it's been termed, he certainly doesn't approach it stupidly. He's also more inclined to like a girl if she has no shame in buying it or taking it with her, it tells Indra him that she cares for herself. He may appear to people as unintelligent and sometimes idiotic, but he is far from it in certain aspects. He has seen his friend's lives get destroyed by teenage and unwanted pregnancies, and doesn't want to jeapardize his life, a girl's life or to have a child born into a family that, although may love them, is unprepared and doesn't have the love between them. He certainly doesn't want to have a child that is raised in a situation similar to his own childhood.
Indra is quite good under peer pressure, a lot of people would crack under the pressure of his friends, but most people somehow find themselves turning to Indra for advice. Indra isn't the worlds best Agony Uncle, but he does do his best for his friends. He won't give in to people, especially if he knows what they're telling him to do won't benefit him or will be harmful to him or his friends. He refuses to give into people and let them be satisfied with what they've done to him, and in that respect he rarely shows strong emotions on the outside aside from happiness and anger.
Indra loves music; it's the most therapeutic thing for Indra in the world. He plays the bass and the drums, and can also play the acoustic guitar (although admittedly not very well). Indra has a diverse music taste, liking bands such as The Cure as well as bands such as Gym Class Heroes, both of which rank quite high on Indra's likes. He is a big fan of Eminem as well, although on first glance you might put Indra down as just another one of those rock kids who go about and whine about their lives. Indra is a big fan of the bands that get classified as 'emo' sometimes - Panic! At The Disco and My Chemical Romance for example- but he's also a fan of classic punk like The Ramones and more underground bands like The Banner, and 504Plan.
Indra despises labels, and he hates when people label others or indeed label themselves. Indra doesn't like to label because he would bet his last dollar that the person with that specific label would do something that isn't conformist to that label. Indra always approaches people the same no matter about their appearance or the music that they listen to. Indra understands everyone judges people before they know them properly, it's human nature to try and get an understanding of a person before you really get to talk to them.

history:
Indra Deacon Jenkins was born to Caroline Rush on April 1st, his father, Albert Jenkins, was present at his birth, but paid little to no attention to his first - and only - son. Caroline, nicknamed Carrie, was only seventeen at the time of conception, and gave birth to Indra when she was barely eighteen years old. They were not a poor family, growing up Albert’s family had been dancing very much on the poverty line, and Carrie’s family had been fairly affluent, but both families abandoned the two once Carrie fell pregnant. Albert was nineteen years old, already a juvenile delinquent, a trait he undeniable passed onto his son. Albert’s best friend of fourteen years, Indra, was named Godfather, and Albert’s son was named after him. Indra Olean, known better as Ollie to his friends, took the role of Godfather in his stride. Though he was barely twenty himself, he took better care of Indra than either of his biological parents ever did.
Carrie had no high school education, a drop out who had fallen for Albert a year previously when they had met where she worked, a drive-thru where Albert regularly visited with his friends. Albert was unemployed, and at the time was living with his family. Son to a struggling jazz musician and a housewife, trying to make ends meet was difficult. By the age of sixteen Albert had been brought home in the back of a police car twice. He was, as his father described him, determined - determined to do everything he could to royally piss off the powers that be that had landed his family in the condition that they were in. Albert had never graduated high school, however, his older brother, Roger, had done so with flying colors. Albert was forever to be in Roger’s shadow for as long as he lived. Roger flourished, by the age of twenty he’d moved out and got an internship. Roger had a business mind, he was bright, and he was what the industry needed. Albert was a failing delinquent, he was what the world despised.
Carrie’s mother was a local nurse, and her father was a lawyer, two respectful Christians who gave off the air of being deeply in love. Carrie envied her parent’s marriage forever, although she never got to see it crumble properly. By the age of seventeen she was pregnant, having known Albert for only three months. She called it a ‘whirlwind romance’; her parents saw it as a plague on their perfect family. Carrie was contaminated, and therefore had to be eliminated as soon as possible. When Carrie moved out of their house and in with Albert and his family, she lost all contact with her parents, and her two sisters.
For five months the pair lived together at the Jenkins’s residence, Ollie making frequent visits, ending up in long talks and discussions with Carrie. Carrie was a bright girl, she could have gone very far, and Ollie was a bright boy. He knew what he was doing in life, and promised Carrie firmly he would one day become an actor. Carrie thought he was mad, but within a few months Ollie came to the residence and announced he had scooped the lead role in a low budget movie. It was a few days later, after Ollie had flown to Los Angeles from Rodeo, that Albert was arrested again, this time for assault on an officer. Carrie came down to the prison to bail out her boyfriend, and upon returning to the Jenkins’s house the two saw their clothes thrown out onto the front lawn. They were on their own.
Within a few days Carrie and Albert were in Los Angeles with Ollie, on the low budget movie set where he was starring as a young boy terrorized and plagued by nightmares that drove him to kill. The pair were absolutely broke, and that was where Roger stepped in, giving Albert money to support his child and girlfriend. One day on set, Ollie turned to Albert and asked when he was planning on marrying Carrie, to which Albert replied he didn’t believe in marriage, and he didn’t need a piece of paper to legitimise their love. Ollie was shocked, and gave the younger boy advice that he should marry Carrie. Albert refused, but within the next month he proposed to Carrie, who eagerly accepted - completely unaware that they would never get married. Ollie finished filming, and Carrie and Albert returned to Rodeo.
Indra was born a healthy, bouncy, and very loud baby. He immediately caused trouble from the very beginning, seeking attention from his young mother. Carrie was frequently suffering from bouts of post-natal depression. There were days she cuddled and hugged Indra, but more often than not there were days she didn’t even want to look at him. Thanks to Ollie, however, Indra was taken care of, and looked after well. He was never short of attention from people, Albert had many friends and the ability to make people laugh, and his mother still possessed what few friends hadn’t turned their backs on them. By this time, Roger had announced he was in love, with a young English girl called Eleanor. Albert often joked that Roger was only in love with her because her name was in a Beatles song - Roger was an aspiring musician, like his father, but, unlike his father, he played rock music, and his band were frequently name checked in the Los Angeles scene.
Carrie was finally free from post-natal depression, having been on anti-depressants. Finally, she found herself totally and completely in love with her son, and Indra, whose middle name derived from Carrie’s grandfather’s surname, was a bouncy young baby at six months. Ollie was spending an increasingly large amount of time with Carrie and Indra, and Albert was spending an increasingly large time away from his family and doing something that would eventually cause his downfall - selling and taking drugs. Albert had no time for Indra; he wanted money, not a family, he told himself not to end up like his family had done. He didn’t want to be poor. Albert began selling drugs, and in doing so he began over-indulging with hard drugs - Class A drugs. Drugs that could have earned him a long, long stay in prison.
Slowly, things began to get rocky. Indra was nine months old, and his father was a drug addict, Carrie rarely saw Albert anymore, but money was good. They were now becoming very affluent; they managed to buy a new apartment, a better apartment - an apartment closer to Ollie. Albert was completely unaware to what was going on behind his back, the eight-month affair that Carrie and Ollie had been having. The pair had not slept together, and Carrie was still engaged to Albert, but they were more in love than Carrie had ever been with Albert. Needless to say, it was a matter of time before Albert found out, and when he did, hell broke loose. The young man, now only twenty one years old, was furious with his so-called best friend, and in a drug-addled and drunken stupor, grabbed a butcher knife from the drawer, marched himself to Ollie’s apartment, broke in and stabbed his best friend five times.
Albert, however, could not bring himself to hurt his long-suffering fiancĂ©, and after she helped Albert to get rid of the body of Ollie, she handed Indra to Roger, begging him to take care of him for her. Carrie left no explanation as to what was going on at that time, confused and upset she handed herself - and Albert - into the police. She was arrested for an accessory to murder, and Albert was arrested for first-degree murder. Indra was barely one year old, and he had lost his grandparents, his godfather, his mother and his father. Roger found out the news, and, as he had promised to Carrie, he took care of Indra. With no other relatives or next of kin willing to take Indra, Roger adopted his nephew, and Eleanor and himself had a ‘son’. Eleanor was Indra’s stand in mother, but, of course, as things often happened with Indra, it did not last for long.
Eleanor and Roger’s relationship was on the rocks; they had drifted apart long ago. Eleanor left one year later, leaving Roger with Indra - and now a second problem. Damien Rush was the son of Carrie’s older sister, who had become a good friend of Roger’s during the course of his brother’s and her sister’s relationship. Troubled by the arrest of her sister, Alice, Carrie’s sister, had started arguing with her husband. Their two-year-old son, slightly younger than Indra himself, was suffering. With in two years, the four year old had almost permanently moved to Rodeo from Chicago to live with Indra and Roger. Indra’s personality was already beginning to take form and shine through. He was a cheeky boy, with his father’s desire to cause mischief and his mother’s intelligence. Indra took on a different intelligence though, he was not book smart or full of facts - he became street smart. Subconsciously, without his realising, he was turning into a form of his father.
Indra was a bright kid; he possessed a ‘spark’, as many described it. He had the ability to make people laugh, and he used it to his advantage. He was not only quick tongued, but also witty and sarcastic, and while others saw this as a gift, the local law enforcement did not. Indra was only a mere six years old, and yet he was already in trouble with the law. It was small things, throwing rocks at windows or terrorizing people - but it was the beginning of something that would become greater as time went on. Indra gained friends - a gang. They were all five, six or seven, and they were just kids mucking about, pretending to do things. But Indra didn’t want to pretend; he wanted to really be that Indian or that pirate.
Needless to say, Indra’s childhood with his rather well off uncle, who was now a music producer, was nothing short of perfect. He had what he needed, but he was not a spoilt child. He was an only child, but he never felt like he was. Damien - who was later to be nicknamed Daz - provided companionship for Indra, and the two forged a friendship like brothers. Anything dodgy in Indra’s past was forgotten, his father was in prison for life, and his mother was serving an equally long amount of time. Indra was now nine years old, and had been a vegetarian since he was a child, as Carrie had been one too. At the age of nine Indra discovered animal rights - a passion which would continue on for a very, very long time.
However, Indra’s passion had always lied in music. His uncle had taught him how to play the guitar, and Indra loved it - revelled in it. Indra was in love with music - music that said something. The Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Ramones… the normal name checks, but he also loved The Cure, Nirvana, Iggy Pop, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Guns’n’Roses. Music became more than just a hobby for Indra; it became a way of life. His uncle had once been a musician, and his grandfather had too. Indra’s grandparents still refused to visit him, his parent’s blood still flowed through his veins… and it showed. It really showed.
By the age of fourteen Indra was already in a band, and had discovered drinking - his peers did it, and Indra did it. But it was at the end of the day Indra was to realize that they were following him, and he was following them… and the endless, vicious circle meant he was spiralling into something else. A completely new, and different world. However, as much as his friends persisted Indra refused to take drugs. Roger had always hated drugs more than anything. Indra wasn’t sure why, but Roger hated them because it was them that had lost him Albert, Carrie and Ollie. Indra was fourteen years old; school was boring, but he found he was popular - he could make people like him by being funny and being daring. He gained a lot of friends, and still had his original ‘gang’ that had started when he was seven, and with age the group had become a lot closer, and were more confident in the fact they could cause trouble.
Indra’s band subsequently split, but at the age of fourteen it wasn’t much of a worry. What concerned him more was his new next-door neighbor, a young girl just over his own age who he had made it his personal mission to woo. Indra eventually did ‘woo’ her, but not as he had first planned. Lauren Cooper - Lozzie to her friends - was Indra’s new next-door neighbor. At their first meeting, Indra had attempted to get her to go on a ‘date’, but she made it clear she wasn’t interested, but the two became good friends. Eventually, years later down the line, when Lozzie fell pregnant, Indra was to become Godfather to her child, ironically enough.
All through these years Indra had not known why his parents were imprisoned. For the most part it hadn’t bothered him, until one day at school it turned out someone had managed to dig up his personal history. Suddenly plagued with the realization his parents were convicts for some reason, Indra rooted through the old newspapers in the library, to find his parents splashed across the front page of a February issue. Both looked notably tired and worn down, his father even more so, and the headline caught his eye. Indra read on - to realize his father was a murderer, and his mother an accessory to it. His drug-addled father had killed his godfather, and Indra swore there and then that he would never allow himself to take drugs. Indra never told Roger he had found out about his parents. It almost went without saying though, the awkwardness and tension that now lay between the two. Indra now had to square with the fact his parents were killers.
By fourteen, Indra had taken up smoking, drinking, and had very un-romantically lost his virginity to his little cousin’s babysitter on the couch in the front room. She was two years his senior, but Indra was proud of himself for having pulled her. It was only then that Indra began to realize how ‘famous’ he was with the locals for being the son of two murderers. It didn’t affect Indra though, he pushed it all aside, forgot that Roger wasn’t his real parent. However, it was to be these experiences that eventually caused his alcohol dependency, and his borderline personality disorder.
Indra was now sixteen, in high school, and still fairly popular for someone so low down on the class man scale. It was now that his reckless behaviour and intent to cause trouble became very apparent. There was a new animal-testing laboratory in town, and Indra rallied up everyone he knew who cared - people of all ages. In an extreme sign of protest, Indra proceeded to chain himself to the gates of the laboratory. Not long after the police arrived, and Indra got increasingly angry at the way he was being treated. To him, he was presenting a peaceful protest. A fight broke out, and Indra hit the police officer. The charges were dropped, and he was taken home. He expected to be told off by Roger, but dinner was on the table, and they ate it in silence. As they finished Indra looked up at Roger, asking if he was mad at him. No, Roger had replied, because it was as stupid and reckless as something your dad would have done, and something as spirited as your mother would have done. Indra wasn’t sure how he wanted to take this comment. He was warmed by the idea his mother had been a vegetarian and an animal rights supporter, but to Indra, she was still as much of a murderer as his father was, and he wanted nothing to do with them.
Over the years Indra had become friendly with the local law enforcement, which, by now, knew Indra by name. Indra had even worked up the cheek to ask for lifts home when he was out late at night. Sometimes, when he was returned extremely late, he climbed into Lozzie’s room and slept there, returning to his house in the morning and pretending he had had a sleep over with Lozzie, who would vouch for him without fail every single time. Besides music, Indra’s love was now for tattoos. He was barely seventeen, and he had already found someone willing to tattoo him. His uncle was angry, but he couldn’t stop what Indra was doing.
Indra was now in what was his third band, which had formed when he was fifteen. It consisted of himself, his best friend Michael (who was called Mikey simply because), Kyan and Thom. With a final, consistent line up November Rain (who later changed their name to the moniker Spiders From Mars) were set to go… save from one, final problem; Roger had taken enough of Indra’s drinking and misbehaving, and he was sent to Los Angeles, to a correctional high school, which, in the end, done more harm than good, because there was more alcohol and chances to misbehave in Los Angeles than Rodeo had ever had to offer.
It was Indra’s band that would eventually make him see sense. Indra had become what his band could only describe as horribly promiscuous, he had a different girl every night, and after a long shouting match lasting four hours. Indra gave in. Having fallen into a bout of depression, at the age of eighteen, Indra checked himself into rehabilitation, where he was then diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. His band was on hold for a while, although he wasn’t sure how long they would wait for him. They released a single, which had been recorded prior to Indra’s rehab, and it done fairly well. Then came the news Mikey had a place at a college in New York - a move that would spell the end for the band. Indra left the rehab not long after being checked in, although clean for a while had fallen back into his normal ways of binge drinking, staying out late and going to parties.
It wasn’t long before Kyan and Thom returned from Rodeo, Mikey in tow. The four released yet another single, and their second album to date. After planning a US and a small UK tour the band released their third single from their album, to mixed reactions, but somewhat hopeful responses from the sceptical critics who’d written them off as the band with the tearaway bassist who fancied himself as a bit of a Los Angeles train wreck. To escape from what Los Angeles could offer (which was too much and a lot of temptation), Indra moved with his band. In the last few months Indra had gone strength to strength despite his continued alcholism, and is finding his new home to be settling and he's finally beginning to gain control over his life. In October 2007, InDIEdisko were nominated for best newcomer at an music award show in New York. They lost the award but started a short tour in New York, travelling to Canada before flying to Scotland to perform a gig on Halloween and premiering two new songs off their up-coming 2008 release. Their regular studio got covered with pop art, and the band ceased listening to any other music during the recording.
